3.5 /5 Overall score
average of 5 criteria
  • Spec strength4.0

±1 PSI auto-stop, 40-minute runtime and a published 56 s top-off time; the Avid Power quotes 3.5–6 minutes per tire.

  • Build quality4.0

1.74 lb with an 18.11-inch hose; Fanttik states it can refill 17 tires without pausing, but publishes no noise or operating-temperature figure.

  • Fit & compatibility3.5

No 12 V or AC fallback — if the battery is flat you are stuck, unlike the Craftsman and DeWalt with three power sources; short hose limits reach.

  • Warranty & support2.5

12 months vs 3 years on DeWalt and Craftsman.

  • Value3.5

$99.99 list buys portability; the AstroAI S1 does 150 PSI for $32.99 if you can live with a cord.

Score is calculated from the manufacturer's published specifications. BaniCar has not handled this unit. Specs and availability change — verify on the listing.

Safety note: Never exceed the tire pressure printed on your door-jamb placard. Inflator PSI claims are the manufacturer's; verify with a separate gauge.

Verdict

The inflator you will actually keep in the door pocket. Great for top-offs on cars and bikes; fleet or truck owners who need to fill from flat should buy something with a cord.

Frequently asked questions

Can I plug the X8 APEX into my car's 12 V socket?

No. It charges only over USB-C (5 V 3 A) and runs on its internal battery. You can charge it from a USB-C car adapter between uses.

How many tires can it fill on one charge?

Fanttik claims up to 40 minutes of continuous runtime and that it can top off 17 tires without pausing. Filling from flat uses far more of the battery than a 5 PSI top-off.

Will it re-seat a tubeless bead?

Fanttik says no — it cannot re-seat a tubeless tire whose bead has popped off the rim.
