About BaniCar

Car gear, scored by the spec sheet. That line is the whole business model.

Who we are

BaniCar is run by a small content team based in Vietnam. We're part of BANI, a group founded by Ngô Văn Phúc, who has built YouTube channels for international audiences since 2017 and teaches other creators to do the same. We've spent years learning what American viewers and shoppers actually want answered. This site applies that to one narrow job: helping you pick car accessories on Amazon without guessing.

We're upfront about where we sit. We're not in Ohio. We don't have a garage full of test cars. What we have is a system, and we publish every piece of it.

What we do

We read the spec sheet the manufacturer publishes, pull the numbers that matter for the category, and score every product on the same five criteria: spec strength, build quality, fit and compatibility, warranty and support, and value. Each score comes with a one-line "why" that names the number behind it. The full method is here: How We Score.

AI tools help us gather and cross-check specs across dozens of listings. A human editor reviews every score and every sentence before it goes live. If a number can't be traced to a manufacturer page or a standards document, it doesn't get published.

What we don't do

We don't pretend to own 60 dash cams. Nobody here has driven with the products we score. You'll never see a hands-on claim on this site, because it wouldn't be true. Sites that do real hands-on testing are valuable. We're a different tool: the person who reads the fine print on every box before you walk into the store.

We don't take money from brands to review their products. We don't show Amazon prices, star ratings, or review counts. Affiliate Disclosure explains why.

Five promises

  1. No sponsored reviews. Nobody pays for a score. If we ever run sponsored content, it will be labeled [Sponsored] and it will not carry a score.
  2. MSRP with dates. When we cite a price, it's the manufacturer's list price with the date we checked it. Amazon prices move daily. We won't quote a number that's stale by the time you read it.
  3. At least two cons per product. Every product page lists a minimum of two real drawbacks taken from the specs. A product with no cons is a product we haven't looked at hard enough.
  4. Scores before links. On every product page, the score and the reasoning appear before any "View on Amazon" button. You should know what we think before we ask you to click.
  5. Errors fixed within 3 business days. Spec sheets change and we make mistakes. Email hello@banicar.com with the product and the correction. We'll verify it against the manufacturer's page and fix it within three business days, with a note on the page.

How we make money

As an Amazon Associate, BaniCar earns from qualifying purchases. That's the whole revenue model. Commissions don't change scores: a 2.5 pays us the same as a 4.5. Details: Affiliate Disclosure.
