3.8 /5 Overall score
average of 5 criteria
  • Spec strength4.0

Full 5-seat coverage with lumbar contouring and separate headrests; only the FH Group and BDK sets match the coverage, and neither claims waterproofing.

  • Build quality4.0

Faux leather described as thick and wear-resistant; Carhartt's CORDURA is a named fabric standard, which Coverado does not provide.

  • Fit & compatibility3.5

Universal with clear exclusions (built-in belts, no-gap seats, armrests need cutting); less flexible than FH Group's split-bench zipper design.

  • Warranty & support4.0

18-month warranty, the longest in this group, but only on orders placed directly with Coverado; Amazon buyers get Amazon's return window.

  • Value3.5

$259.99 list is the priciest set here; frequent $179.98 sales close the gap with FH Group and BDK.

Score is calculated from the manufacturer's published specifications. BaniCar has not handled this unit. Specs and availability change — verify on the listing.

Safety note: Only use covers the manufacturer states are compatible with side airbags on seats that have them.

Verdict

The pick if you want the whole cabin in matching faux leather with an airbag statement and a real warranty. Buy it from coverado.com for the 18-month coverage, and double-check your front seats for built-in belts or armrests before ordering.

  • Airbag cut-outs with a published compatibility statement
  • Waterproof faux leather wipes clean

  • Coverado's own spec sheet says 'water resistant' while the listing says 'waterproof'

Frequently asked questions

Will this fit a 2024 RAV4 with a 60/40 rear seat?

The rear comes as three pieces (two backrests and a bench cushion) for universal fit; Coverado advises measuring your seats and entering your model on its site. The RAV4's front seats have no built-in belts, so the front covers should install normally.

Is the faux leather really waterproof?

Coverado's Amazon listing says waterproof; its own spec sheet says water resistant. Expect spills to bead and wipe off, but don't count on it sealing the seams.

Does the warranty cover Amazon purchases?

The 18-month warranty is stated for orders placed on coverado.com. Amazon orders fall under Amazon's return policy unless Coverado says otherwise.
